The cash-flow chart is not showing taxes. Is this a bug?
The cash-flow / sankey chart does not depict tax liability breakdowns. Rather, it shows you the flows that occur like tax withholding, tax return payments, and/or tax refunds.
To see full tax liability breakdowns for each simulated year, you’ll want to look at the Tax Analytics page. And the Total Taxes, Taxable Income, and Taxable Income > Deductions expansion panels in the yearly summary pane can also be helpful, which are located to the right of the chart in the Plan tab.
At the end of each simulated year, total tax liability is reconciled with any withholding that occured throughout the year, and then in the following year you’ll see either a tax return payment or refund (which is what the cash-flow view should reflect).
